The 35W AC Ballast is superior to the DC model given that its Alternating Current to help preserve the longevity of your HID bulbs while still supplying it the 35W needed to be 3-5 times brighter than Halogens
The Ballast is the Power controller behind your HID kit. It regulates the voltage pushed to your HID Bulbs. A Ballast is required for HIDs to work.

With this being my first purchase for my headlight I totally expected less for the price I paid and let me tell you the hid bulb industry will charge you arm and leg for bulbs that this company does for less and the offer a range of color spectrum
very bright and easy to install, so far no complaints
Light are ok but the decoder or junk turn light on low beam might come on might not come on get out truck go hit the headlight lens light come on unhook the decoder lights work great one the decoder blow one head light now it don't work at all
A very easy install, wire on the provided connectors, replacing the oem connector with the provided one (2 wires) and its plug and play, works excellently, pure white LED, bypasses the HID system while still retaining factory features and with the decoder, throws no codes on the 1999 LS400.
I had a great experience working with Nimbis 9005 LED Headlight kit. Love the even light the bulbs present across the front of the car.
My low and high beam replacements were spot on. Your light replacements are awesome.
