FAQ

1) How do I know what LED bulb I need for my car?

Firstly, check your vehicle manual where the bulb specs should be clearly listed. Remove the existing bulbs, check the markings, and take a photo. Alternatively, use our search tool and input the year, make, and model of your ride.

2) Is it difficult to install upgrade LED bulbs?

Absolutely not! All our bulbs slot in as direct replacements and installation couldn’t be easier. Any H7 bulbs will work as replacements for H7 headlights.

3) What modifications do I need to make?

None. Your LED conversion kit will work with no modifications required on the same power rating and the bulbs in place. One exception to this is for high-wattage off-road bulbs which sometimes call for uprating the fuse from 7.5 amp to 15 amp. Also, you might occasionally require replacement bulb holders. You won’t find this out until you proceed with installation.

4) LED bulbs are quoted as having lifespans of 50,000 hours. How many years of use is that?

Depending on how often you use your lights, you should get anywhere from 1 to 4 years of use. This will vary according to the manufacturer and the bulb type.

5) What’s the best kelvin rating to look out for with LED headlights?

6000k LEDs emit brilliant white light. This is the preferred color for forward-facing LEDs like headlights.
